Hi,

for some reason I have some E1 links which contain both bearer and signalling, with SS7 signalling in 16th channel of those E1s while other channels contain voice traffic. In order to connect them to the voice gateway and SC2200, first they are connected to some drop/insert E1 cards which extract the 16th channel and then would insert them to an outgoing E1 and then I plan to connect that E1 to SC2200. Is it a practical solution? Does SC2200 support such E1 link?

Any ideas?

You’ve been struggling with this for awhile. I would take Sam Malkeric’s advice from this post:
