SSL on IP Phone Browser

My customer would like to integrate its Lotus Domino Address book into the IP Telephony environment. At the moment I am not aware of the phone being able to connect via SSL to a webserver with an address book.

Is there a way of doing this or will this become possible any time soon? If yes, on which phones?

I don't think at this point, there is a provision to connect via SSL to a webserver.

No the browser does not support SSL, only HTTP requests. There are two ways to integrate a directory system into Call Manager, first is to build your own code using IP Phone Services, the second is to use Virtual Directory Engine on the Cistera Convergence Server http://www.cistera.com
