Hi all.
status monitor shows: taking call, subscriber sign in. however, it does not seem to release the port, taking call states does not change. whenever nortel phone subscriber sign in, this will happen. it can lock up all the unity ports allocated for nortel.
this only apply to nortel subscriber, the integration is thru pbx link. cisco ip phone subscriber does not have this problem.
what could be wrong? need help....

If the Nortel phones have this problem after hanging up (all other Unity functionality is normal as they have called in), can you post the contents of the Nortel switch file? You can determine which swtich file is being used by checking the following registry location...
HKLM\Software\Active Voice\MIU\1.0\Initialization\Switch 0\Switch Configuration File
That *.ini file will be located in \Commserver\Intlib
If the Nortel phones aren't getting proper Unity conversation, then it's an entirely different story and let us know.

we've found out the problem, it was caused by call routing. thanks for your reply.
