Are you using G729a for the recording codec by any chance? There's no silence detection capabilities with that codec...
if not, what's happening? It just keeps recording forever?

Jeff,
We're using G.711. The message will continue recording until the # or 1 key is hit. I let it go 70 seconds before hitting the # key during my tests.

If you get with TAC, TAC can help with setting traces that will show Unity requesting silence detection for the duration that's specified on the SA. I'd be curious to see those calls and returns.
