Strong password for CM admin and sa

Does anyone know why Cisco still has this CAUTION in the intall guide for CM?

"When entering passwords for the local Administrator and SA (SQL Server system administrator) accounts, enter alphanumeric characters only." Nowadays everyone wants passwords with the same special characters that can be used on every other Windows server.

Using Non alphanumeric characters the Microsoft Active Directory database can cause errors,so Cisco specifies to use only alphanumeric characters only
