T.37 with plar

Hello,

New to this board, so TIA.

I need to forward a particular analog voice line to a T.37 mmoip. But when I dial the number the fax tone doesn't pick up. Here is the particular part of the config.

voice-port 1/1/1

connection plar 933

dial-peer voice 9330 mmoip

application fax_on_vfc_onramp_app out-bound

max-conn 248

destination-pattern 933

information-type fax

session target mailto:info@xyz.com

image resolution fine

dsn failure

Try this.

dial-peer voice 1 pots

port 1/1/1

incoming-called number 933

service onramp

direct-inward-dial

dial-peer voice 9330 mmoip

application fax_on_vfc_onramp_app out-bound

destination-pattern 933

information-type fax

session target mailto:info@XYZ.COM

Thanks for the reply however, it didn't take part of the command and didn't work.

dial-peer voice 1 pots

port 1/1/1

incoming-called number 933

it won't take "service-onramp" under dial-pper voice 1 pots

Re: T.37 with plar

You IOS may be older.

Try

application onramp

I didnt mean to put a dash between service and onramp.

onramp is the application you create.

service command is new with 12.3 and 12.4 ioses, which should be used in place of "application" command.

Re: T.37 with plar

Sankar,

The funny thing is this used to work fine when we had a T1 line, so I know the tcl application part is fine. We can't get it reconfigured for the analog lines, something to do with plar and t.37
