Talker echo

Hi All

User are complaining about 'talker echo', so have pulled a few readings from a couple of Gateways I have (2821)..

1st Gateway

OutSignalLevel -71

InSignalLevel -25

ERLLevel 32

another reading...

OutSignalLevel -72

InSignalLevel -55

ERLLevel 45

2nd Gateway

OutSignalLevel -26

InSignalLevel -59

ERLLevel 40

another reading..

OutSignalLevel -66

InSignalLevel -17

ERLLevel 40

Any views, opinions, assistance to enable me to unput correct input output settings to get rid of 'talker echo' appreciated

(I have an idea, but the more minds the better)

Thanks to all

Cheers Rob

Re: Talker echo

the best way is through trial and error to determine the best ERL levels per gateway.

use the following link to troubleshoot the ERL levels to what you need them:

Re: Talker echo

Do you happen to be running later releases of 12.3(11)T or 12.3(14)T? I've had some recent issues with echo and have seen a number of posts regarding bugs. This post was especially helpful:
