Refer earlier excellent post from Paul (copied below).

I've tried and got to the point where I get the TAPS error announcement when dialing the RP. Will be trying the fix later :-)

Question is one for Cisco really - why don't they include TAPS in the 'Extended Services' CRA package ?

Hi Alex

I've installed it with CM 3.3 from the Auto Attendant CD and it works fine. There is a bug to watch out for depending on the version of CM 3.3, if you install 3.3.2 even with SP C the TAPS service doesn't start and keeps stopping, I think it is fixed in 3.3.3. You have to modify the wrapper.properties file to point to the correct java directory. You'll keep getting a prompt saying TAPS is experiencing system proplems every time you dial the TAPS RP.

The file is below. Comment out the entry for wrapper.javabin and add a new line that include the full directory statement.

#THIS FILE IS REQUIRED TO RUN TAPS SERVICE.

#DO NOT MODIFY OR DELETE CONTENTS.

wrapper.bat_home=c:\ciscowebs\bat

wrapper.taps_home=$(wrapper.bat_home)\taps

wrapper.tomcat_home=$(wrapper.taps_home)

wrapper.server_xml=$(wrapper.taps_home)

wrapper.window_home=C:

wrapper.stdout=$(wrapper.taps_home)\TAPSService\TAPSSrvOutPut.log

wrapper.stderr=$(wrapper.taps_home)\TAPSService\TAPSSrvError.log

#wrapper.javabin=$(wrapper.taps_home)\bin\java.exe

wrapper.javabin=C:\Progra~1\Cisco\JRE\j2re1.4.0_01\bin\java.exe

wrapper.class_path=$(wrapper.taps_home)

wrapper.class_path=$(wrapper.taps_home)\bat.jar

wrapper.class_path=$(wrapper.window_home)\winnt\java\lib\DirUser.jar

wrapper.class_path=$(wrapper.window_home)\winnt\java\lib

wrapper.startup_class=TAPS

wrapper.cmd_line=$(wrapper.javabin) -classpath $(wrapper.class_path)

$(wrapper.startup_class)

Re: Taps & CCM 3.3(3)sr2

Under Cisco Extended Services Administrator, I can click on Application Administrator and it will bring up the AppAdmin web page with a Username/Password page. I enter the username/password and a page will come up saying "Page cannot be displayed". Any ideas on what I am missing?

Try username:Administrator

Password:ciscocisco

This can be used only once until you set up the profile.

Re: Taps & CCM 3.3(3)sr2

Yes I tried that using Administrator/ciscocisco (case sentisitive) and that will just return the login screen for me to reenter password. After 3 time it will display "You are not Authorized to View this Page". I can use my Normal Administrator Username/Password and it wil actually login but will just display "Page cannot be displayed".

Re: Taps & CCM 3.3(3)sr2

Hi, any luck yet???

I see the same on box with ccm3.1(4b)spD & es2.2(2)

and I think it's after the OS-upgrades to 2000-2-5...
