TCCS with Modems

I've got 3745 and 7200 using TCCS to connect 2 PBX's. Phone calls and faxes are working fine. Not able to use modems (dialup) over the TCCS. Not getting any errors other than the modem doesn't connect. Is there anything in particular that needs to be set up for modems to work across a TCCS connection?

Re: TCCS with Modems

If you use the default g729 codec, the modem audio will be compressed and it will just not work as the codecs are optimised for speech, not modem tones.

You will need to use g711 codecs on all the channels you pass modems over , if this cannot be determined you will need to configure g711 for all calls and it will eat up the bandwidth !
