TCL IVR on ITS

trying to do TCL IVR on ITS, the one that comes with the latest version of ITS.

Problem is when I dial the pilot number I get silence. Not sure if I'm configuring the pilot number correctly.

Here is the application configuration

call application voice aa aa-pilot 110

call application voice aa operator 100

call application voice aa language 1 en

call application voice aa set-location en 0 flash:

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

You must add "application aa" under the dial-peer pots. Just in case you missed to do this!

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

I'm having the same problem you have and I have the application aa under the dial peer pots statement. Another problem I have is that if I don’t dial any number, the system is supposed to redirect the number to the operator. That is not working; but if I dial “0” it will send the call to the operator. The documentation says that it's supposed to send the call to the operator if no button is pressed.

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

Are you trying to call the pilot number form an ITS phone? Does the AA get invoked when a call comes in from the PSTN ? How long are you waiting without pressing a digit to transfer to the operator.

Please post a show run so I can suggest something to you.

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

When I call the pilot I get a fast busy; I can only get into the AA when I dial from a POTS line. When the AA answers, I get the prompts and If I don't press any number, I can wait forever and the system won't forward the call to the operator. As soon as I dial 0 it goes to the operator number. Below is the config. Thanks

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

If you mean you cannot get into the AA number when you dial from an ITS phone, then that is correct. The AA was not designed to work that way. It was designed only for the incoming POTS lines, or potentially incoming voip calls. However having said that there is a work around. You cna configure a dummy dial peer with any number and configure the application outbound on the dial peer.

For example :

dial-peer voice 9999 voip

destination-pattern 9999

application auto_att outbound

This should work.

For the problem with tranferring to operator, it should work after a timeout of ten seconds. I will look into it and let you know. Menawhile if you can, please forward debug voip ivr all, so I can see it happening.

Re: TCL IVR on ITS

Thanks Taimor. I'll try the commands and let you know. Regarding the debug output, there's a lot of data (it won't fit in the post). Perhaps I can send the debug files through email.

Thanks again for your help
