Text to Speech Problems

We just upgraded from standard Unity Voice Mail to Unity Unified Messaging (Version 2.4.6). I can see from the SAWEB page that I have the text-to-speech licenses and the TTS ports available on the system and the users have the proper COS, but whenever Unity attempts to "read" an email we get the "That email cannot be played at this time" message followed by the "Sorry this system is unable to complete this call, goodbye" message. Any suggestions ?<br><br>

Anytime you hear that convestation, "Sorry this system is unable to complete this call" there should be an error written to the app event log that will give a clue as to what is going on. I would start by checking there.

The error message is:

[Thread 0x000008F4] [Port 1]: IAvResMgr::AddRequestBlocking() returned [80040301]. In file h:\CommSvr\Sources\AvConvSubscriber\AvConvSubMsgPlaySvr\AvSTTSSetup.cpp on line 858.

Does that mean anything to you ?
