TFTP Port Numbers from Call Mgr

We have noticed that upon boot up, an IP Telephone Set will send tftp requests to the Call Mgr tftp server using udp/69. However, the TFTP server responds back with udp and port numbers greater than 59000 (at least in the time period that I have been looking at this). I wonder if there is a defined range of port numbers this TFTP server (ver 4.1) will use when downloading configs to the IP Telephone Sets?

The response can be on any random high port (1024 - 65534). Please see the following link for confirmation.

Hi smith,

I found the port range at SRND for CCM 4.1

It starts of UDP 69, then use range between UDP 49152 and 65535.
