TFTP!!!

Hi all,

We try to use DHCP on IP Phone 7960, but only pick up IP Address. DNS IP, Subnet mask and Default Gateway, not the TFTP server IP. Anyone know why and how to make 7960 pick up TFTP serve IP.

By the way, we use Windows NT server DHCP.

Thanks

Ken

Re: TFTP!!!

Create a standard DHCP option under your scope defined as "IP Phones " or something similar. The data type should be set to "IP Address" and the code value should be set to 150. Fill in the IP address of the call manager you are TFTPing from and make sure you go back and add it to the scope.

A great tutorial:

If you decide to move to win2k...
