The best way to suppress outbound caller ID.

I have a customer that wants to suppress all outbound caller ID information for a subset of phone on the system. I can put "0" in the external mask box of the phone profile but really want to send nothing at all. Is there a value I can place in the box that will suppress all caller ID values? If I leave it blank, the system defaults to giving me the 4 digit extension.

I'm running CM 3.2.1

I think this is possible in the PBX not in the CM. For example you can either specify your own no or the network no by using the command

isdn calling-pty {network-provided | user-provided}

You can always enter a * or a # in the external mask, but if you leave it blank, it will always send the extension.
