Are you looking to develop your own applications? If so, this thread might be useful to you:
From that post, it only brings me more uncertainty. Suppose CCM should have a TAPI driver (TSP) available. I knew it is available in 2.x since I was able to find documentation for it. How about CCM 3.x? Anyone developed some apps using CCM 3.x's TAPI driver?
I have been researching where and when the Cisco TAPI and JTAPI development guides will be available. It turns out they should be posted on Cisco.com within the next month or so. These developer guides should be useful to you in your application development. I will update this thread when these documents are available and provide a URL. Anyone interested in these should subscribe to this conversation so you will be notified.
Should anyone be able to provide further assistance until these documents are published, don't hesitate to reply to this thread.
Thank you for your post.
I have develloped some applications(for CCM 3.x) using JTAPI and Cisco JTAPI. I suggest you to begin by looking at the Cisco sample(MakeCall,Jtrace).
Thanks for your pointer. Just wondering, where can I find those examples? Since we're still waiting for our CCM to arrive (~10 business days), I won't have access to its manual, etc. Can I find those example on the Internet or CCO?
The Cisco TAPI guide is now available on Cisco.com at
JTAPI is forthcoming, please keep subscribed to this thread for the URL when it's published.
I have just been looking the documents located at:
specifically I have been looking at the Cisco TAPI Examples, in the code listed reference is made to a CiscoLineDevSpecificUserControlRTPStream2 class, which i have been unable to locate. Where can this file be found and is there any more information available for the LineDevSpecific functions as I am having difficulty writing 3rd party applications for the Call Manager 3.x that can do first party call control and media termination.
Thanks in advance,
The JTAPI developer Guide
Was released two months ago, I think
