Time of Day routing and Authorisation code

Hi, Client is using Callmanger 4.1(3) and would like to implement restricted calls overnight via Time Of Day routing but would also like each user to have their own unique authorisation code that they can enter to allow them to make out of hours calls if necessary. Is this possible?

Re: Time of Day routing and Authorisation code

Yes. Consider the following scenario:

1. IP Phones have a Calling Search Space of DEVICE-UNRESTRICTED-CSS

2. The DEVICE-UNRESTRICTED-CSS contains two partitions. INHOURS-PT and AFTERHOURS-PT (important that they are listed in that order)

3. The INHOURS-PT has a TOD Group assigned to it that only allows calls between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4. Create a Route Pattern of 9.@ in the INHOURS-PT partition and DO NOT require FAC for this Route Pattern.

5. Create a Route Pattern of 9.@ in the AFTERHOURS-PT partition and REQUIRE FAC for this Route Pattern.

Once this is created, during the hours of 8 a.m to 5 p.m. if a caller dials 918005882300 it will match the 9.@ route pattern in the INHOURS-PT partition. Between the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. the INHOURS-PT partition is essentially removed from the CSS (this is how TOD routing works, it removes that partition of the calling searh order) and the same call to 918005882300 will match the 9.@ route pattern in the AFTERHOURS-PT which will require the caller to enter their FAC.

Obviously you can change the names/route patterns, etc but you should have the idea of how to accomplish this.
