Time of the Day Routing

I have a customer who is going to purchase Cisco 6506 with (1) CMM, and (3) T1 Port Adapter. Each port adapter with have (6) T1 ports. Two questions:

Can CMM be configured to do routing based on time of the day?

will (18) T1s will be too much burden on a single 6506 CMM Module. Is it recommended?

Customer was told by Cisco that Cisco wouldn't recommend to configure 18 T1s on a single blade.

Why Would Cisco has a such technology, but wouldn't recommend it.

Note: Customer doesn't have a Call Manager.

Re: Time of the Day Routing

The CMM can e configured with time of day routing using CallManager which agent or GW controller r u planning to use if not using CCM? Using H323, MGCP.?

Do u have the doc where that is stated? I dont remember we have published one of those?

Re: Time of the Day Routing

I don't think I would put "all my T1 eggs" in one basket. Ideally, you should have a second 6506 with CMM and t1 cards in it. This way, if one your cores goes down, the PRI traffic can still route.. depending on your MGCP gateway routing.
