When a user has Active Assistant open with no activity or closes the browser without logging off, how long is the session kept open, before it times out?<br><br>
Normally it will hang on to the session for the time specified in the "Connection timeout" setting on the Default web site properties dialog in the Internet Information Services configuration applet. By default this is 900 seconds. However sometimes when you don't log out first the session variable never clears for whatever reason and you can end up with "burned" sessions. Bouncing the WWW service will normally clear these if you get in that situation.
With 3.x, if the user closes the browser without logging out, there is an addition pop up that signals that the software logged the user out by itself.
