Time synchronization for CDR analysis

hi,

I have an IP Phone application that allows users to enter access codes to make long distance calls. The customer needs to be able to bill these calls to the user, so the IP Phone app writes the code, phone and time to a local SQL database. When CDRs are processed, the SQL queries also use this information to link a given call with an access code.

The problem I have is that this will only work if the two computers (Call Manager & application server) have their clocks synchronized to the second. I would like to use Network Time Protocol, and would like to run an NTP server on the Call Manager. Has anyone done this, or can recommend a solution?

Callum

The Call Managers install a NTP server on install that keeps pub and subs in same cluster synced together. The software is called XNTP that is installed.
