Hi all,
when we call a busy number from an IP Phone we correctly hear the busy tone, and, if we don't press the End Call button, the call is ended after 30 seconds. Do you know if it's possible to reduce this timer?
I see on CCO that this is possible for CCME (timeouts busy seconds), but I find nothing for call manager "server" (we have 4.1(3)).
Thanks for your help.
Best Regards
Roberto

Roberto,
This is set in CCM Service Parameters, CallManager service, T305 Timer. I have tested this in a lab as low as 6 seconds. I have never used this change in a production standpoint and would recommend thorough testing.
T305 Timer : This parameter specifies an ISDN Layer 3 timer for User (Disconnect Request) DISCONNECT sent, Network (Disconnect Indication) DISCONNECT without progress indicator sent. For exact timer definitions, refer to the Q.931 specification.
This is a required field.
Default: 30000.
Unit: msec.
Minimum: 6000.
Maximum: 150000.
