Toll Bypass

Is anyone doing large scale toll bypass? I have 28 offices throughout the State of Florida connected via a Frame network, each with a 3745 and a full PRI for PSTN. For instance: I'd like to create route patterns so that if someone in Tallahassee dials any Miami exchange it routes via the WAN - and then out the PRI in Miami. I'll have to create patterns that match each exchange that are local to each area. I can't do it by area code alone. In north Florida the 850 area code covers from Pensacola to Tallahassee. Is it worth the trouble?

Michael:

It probably be worth the time. It is a lot of NXXs to load in your area. Full NPA coverage PRIs make this a lot easier. It seems like some of the NPAs in Miami might be full coverage.

The other way to do it is to look at your current circuit switched bill and to sort it by called number. You will probably find that 80% calls go to 20% of the numbers. Just load route patterns for the 20% and you have eliminated 80% of your LD bill.

Make sure you have the resources on your frame network.
