Transfer > Resume > Transfer > Resume > Transfer > Resume

Receptionist is required to find a live person to transfer calls to.

She wanted to know if there was any way to avoid having to resume after each attempted transfer where no person answered the phone.

My answer is no, you have to resume each time to try another transfer, but thought I would doublecheck with others.

Maybe ARC Console would do this?

Jason,

I think you dont have to hit resume so that you can transfer the person again to a different number after you do a first attempt to transfer and the destination doesnt answer. All you have to do is hang up the call and dial the new number again. The original caller may still be on hold. Check it out!
