transfer to cell phone call handler disconnecting with 4.0.1

I have a call handler setup named josh-cell. I have set caller-input options 4 on my subscriber account to attempt-transfer to the josh-cell call handler. I have configured the alternate transfer rule in the josh-cell call handler with a 9 and my cell phone number. When I dial 4 from my subscriber greeting, Unity calls my cell phone. When I answer my cell phone, it immediately disconnects. Any idea what would be causing this to happen? I have this same scenario working fine with 3.1.5 and 3.2. This broken scenario is with 4.0.1 and 3.3.

Re: transfer to cell phone call handler disconnecting with 4.0.1

Hi Josh

We will need some more info on this. What gateway are we using to make an outside call? If it's an IOS gateway please send us the config. Is it only happening to a cell phone and not to pstn phones?

Thanks for the response. It seems to be happening with transfers to cell phones or PSTN phones. Here is the config from the IOS gateway with a PRI. Notice that dial-peer voice 910 is the one used for outbound calls to the PSTN via the PRI from Unity/CallManager.

Re: transfer to cell phone call handler disconnecting with 4.0.1

Hi

If it disconnects immediately after picking up it's most of the time a codec issue. The best thing would be to take a debug voip ccapi inout debug onto this router and check why we are disconnecting that call. Please paste the traces as well into this post and we can check it.

Ullie- My debug voice ccapi inout is too long to post. What should I be looking for as far as a codec mismatch goes? Thanks for the help on this one!
