Translation pattern to modify SOME incoming numbers

Hi,

I use CCM 4.1.3.

I have one route pattern to the PSTN GW (H323 controlled).

The PSTN Gw is not IOS and no possibility to do any translation rule on it.

What I would like to do is for incoming calls, the calling numbers arrives with International format.

For the ones coming from my country, I would like to remove the international code.

Example:

+4422222222222222 calls my IP phone 1000.

I could use a translation pattern saying that for all calls going to XXXX, I change calling party number to 0222222222222

Problem is that if the call comes from +323333333333, I will have the same behaviour.

I would like to MATCH the calling number and change only if first 2 digits are equal to 44.

Can I do that ????

thanks in advance.

I don't belive you can do any routing based on ANI on CallManager. The only solution I see is to run each call either trough Unity routing rule or CRA script, which have capabilities of routing based on Calling Number.

This can be done by useing application dial rules within call manager itself.

You would be able to say if string is 10 digits long and begins with 44 then do..............

This feature is under Route Plan/Application Dial Rules

Oh yeah, good call. Completely forgot about that feature.

Well, I do not see how I can apply dial rules to change "calling number" ?

This apparently applies for dialed number.

What I want to do is for an incoming call, change the "calling number".

Let me know if I missed something in the dial rules.

Hi,

This is simple - you cannot do any kind of translation based on the CALLING number, on callmanager.

You can make translations on a H.323 gateway, but in this case you cannot, as this gateway is on the TELCO side.
