Translations Vs. Call Park

I have 2 CCM clusters. Cluster A has Extensions in the range 4XXX, site B has Call Park #'s of 4XX. For the phones at site B to call site A, I have a RoutePattern of 4XXX to an intercluster trunk.

This gives callers fast busy. Even if I do not allow the calling extension access to the Call Park partition. If I define explicitly the number being called it works. It will not work with the 4XXX pattern though.

Do I need to change the Call Park number range for this site?

Re: Translations Vs. Call Park

I don't quite understand what could be happening. In site B whether you have the 4xxx or 4000 when the call is sent to A it is called party is 4000. Can you look at the traces and see if the call is getting busy from site B or site A cm cluster? Another thing is in site A ccm assign a CSS to the intercluster trunk deivce representing site B that does is not allowed to call the park range.

Hope this helps,
