What characters are acceptable as sending a pause. In attempting to use the comma character it tells me that the specified phone number either contains characters that are not valid or is not formatted correctly. Right-click the arrow for the Dial Number box for more information.
I have right clicked everywhere I can think of and there has not been more information. Can someone provide a link or information on what are acceptable dialing characters.
More importantly can someone provide what the pause character might be so that I can allow the called phone system enough time to pick up and then pass the extra extension chatacters.
Unfortunately this does not solve the root problem of being able to dial in one simple step. I was hoping that there would be a way to get characters that outlook can pass to pause the dialing of the extension until the phone system on the called parties end picks up.
If I'm reading correctly, He also uses Outlook to dial outside of the office, we are about to deploy this feature as well, and I'd also be interested to know how to dial a main number, have the delay, so that I could input an extension.
