I have CM 3.3 and Unity 2.4.6(161) and TSP 7.02. Is it necessary to turn off Cisco Messaging Interface or can I leave it running? I know there are problems in the past if this service is running, but is it still the case with CM 3.3
With CMI, the problem isn't with it running; it's when the service gets configured. Still, since you don't need it I would turn it off. No need to waste system resources on something you don't need and honestly each additional piece of code opens the opportunity to system failure.
