Two ATA-186 connects problem

Hi,

I connect two ATA-186 on different location, Hong Kong and China. We want to use Fax machine to connect. In the china, I use the version is v2.16 ata18x (build 030509a)(H.323 and SIP). In Hong kong, I use the version is V2.11(H.323 and SIP). Now, I set the ATA run on the fax-Relay. But I meet some problem. I fax 5 of pieces of papers, The error occur. On the Other hand, Both sides is connected to Line 2 to send the fax, no paper can send out and receive. Error also occurs.

I don't know what problems is ?

The ata 186 does not support fax relay.

Hi,

How can I config to the Fax pass-though mode ? Do You have any suggested about my configure. I have changed the default seeting in ATA-186

Audio Mode : 0x00000012

Tx Codec : 3

LBRCodec : 3

RxCodec : 3

ConnectMode : 0x00068400

The other setting is the Network. e.g. : Gateway, StaticRoute, StaticIP,...,etc.

I follow the default at other configuration except the above configuration.
