Unable to call CUE from H323 Gateway

PBX caller "A" makes call to Caller "B's" Cisco IP Phone in remote location. If caller "B" picks up call both parties can talk. If caller "B" does not answer phone, Caller "A" will receive slow busy after FNA timer expires (call is attempting to go to VM). Caller "A" is on Avaya PBX. Avaya PBX is connected to 3845 via PRI. 3845 is a H323 GW for CCM. Caller "B" is at a remote location which has a 2821 MGCP controlled GW. At the remote location Unity Express is installed and connected to the CCM at the main site. If we call from a Cisco IP PHone all works well. Any IDEAS? Under Voice service voip h323-sip h323-H323, Sip-H323 is turned on. All codecs are set to G711u

Are you saying when you dial from IP phone that is registered to CCM at main site to phone "B" VM works fine?

Yes, it is only when you dial from an Avaya Phone which uses the H323 Gateway to connect the call. If the user B answers the call it is ok, it is only when it FNA'a to CUE. If I do this from a IP phone all works fine

What IOS versions are running on both routers? Forwarding (and transfer) across H323 require special considerations. Take a look here:

You need H450.3 and 'call-forward pattern' configured.

Also what codec do you use? CUE only supports G711 so if are sending calls as G729 you'll need transcoders.

Try changing the duration in CCM for No Answer Ring Duration. You can find this under the individual "B" Directory Number. Try a value like 10 'secs' at first.

Problem resolved, it turned out to be a CSS issue on the CallManager. Route Point was in correct PT but CTI ports were in different PT which CSS was not able to communicate with.
