unable to install Operating System 2000.4.1 on DL320 G3

After inserting disk and rebooting,

I get message "Loading RAMDISK image"

I get message " THe bios settings have been changed and requires system reboot"

and continues in this cycle for ever

Hi,

You need to set the BIOS settings on the server

The BIOS settings that should be set are:

Hyperthreading - Disabled

Embedded_Virtual_Disk - Disabled

ATA_Software_RAID - Enabled

The software will then install ok.
