unable to install OS 2000.4.1 on DL320 G3

My BIOS settings:

Hyperthreading - Disabled

Embedded_Virtual_Disk - Disabled

ATA_Software_RAID - Enabled

After inserting disk and rebooting,

I get message "Loading RAMDISK image"

After i get blue screen:

A problem has been dedected.....

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL...

Tech info

STOP: 0X000000D1 (...)

aarich.sys -- Address F7863213 base at F785B000, Datestamp 418ad327.

i have several DL 320 G3 and this problem on each server.

Try to disable RAID and see if it fixes the problem.

I believe you need to use the hardware SATA RAID option on the 320 G3.

If sata raid disable i get the "bios settings have been reset and the server required to reboot".

If SATA RAID enable i get blue screen.

Download SATA RAID Controller Driver from: http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22353.html

copy the contents of the zip file to a disk

Press F6 when prompted to install a third-party driver

Insert the driver disk and wait until prompted to install a driver.

Press S to specify that the driver is on the floppy disk, then press Enter.

When the Adaptec Embedded Serial ATA HostRAID driver is found, press Enter. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete your installation.

That worked fine for me!!
