Just had 100 new DDI numbers commissioned by the Telco. They come in to the gateway (MGCP) and can also be seen by CCM (I see this in the CallManager Traces). But I just get the out of service tone when calling in. The MGCP gateway is set for 4 significant digits and support sother ranges no problem. The Telco send 6 digits but the Gateway only looks at the last 4 as set up in Callmanager. But I get the error below
The top debug is a goodf call the botton debug for 434301 is the failing call
what the vendor installed it did was in the CSS used for the voicegateway they had 3 PT, say PT1, PT2 and PT 3. None of these PTs were where the phones resided, PT_Phone.
A transaltion rule matching the last 4 digits of the dial plan was configured for the previous DDI numbers and placed in PT1, this was then added to the Internal CSS which contains both PT1 and PT_Phones (with me so far)this then had the CALLING party transform mask configured to show the outgoing number plus the box ticked for phone number mask so totally irellavent as far as I am concerned. The CALLED party transform mask was blank which tells me it will match the exact 4 digits presented. So pointless translation from my point of view but this was for an 8XXX range the new DDI range was 43XX so just copied it over from the 8XXX translation
