Unity 2.4.6 TSP not registering with backup CCM

Hi, with unity 2.4.6 and the TSP configured for both a primary and backup Call Manager, and option checked to register to primary when it comes back.

Problem is the primary server was taken offline, and callers couldn't get to VM. Just trying to find out possible reasons why unity didn't fail over to other server. The other server was completely off the network at the time. We plan on testing this again in a week or so and will look under Voice Mail ports in CCM to see if they report as being registered and to what IP.

It's really hard to guess what the problem would be without diagnostic data. I would start by making sure you are running version 7.0(3) and then posting any TSP related events in the application log at the time of the primary failure. That should give us a good starting place to work from.

How can I get the TSP version? Under the telephony control panel settings (Windows NT) the version isn't mentioned.

Step 1 Browse to the System32 directory.

Step 2 Right-click the Avskinny.tsp file, and click Properties.

Step 3 In the Properties window, click the Version tab. The AV-Cisco TSP version number is displayed in the File Version setting.
