Unity 3.0 distortion

We have Unity 3.0.1 and they get random distortion on playback of voice messages left on Unity, this does not happen very often and is difficult to recreate. Locally CM (3.1.2c) is using G711 we have not installed G729 onto unity. <br><br>I have read that this issue can be caused by phones/ccm using one codec and unity using another?<br><br>Can you give me some pointers/help to what might be causing this problem?<br><br>Thanks in advance for any help you can provide<br><br>

Does this only happen on external calls or are internal calls affected too?
