Has this been pulled?

I did download all the files for 312 however I have msde loaded because I have only 12 ports and when I attempt to upgrade it tells me to install sp1 for sql which I can not do it is looking for mdac 2.6...can I just download Mdac 2.6 and install it or will 3.1 look for something else as well?

Do you know if the MD5 on CCO is correct. I've downloaded CD1 twice now and can't come up with the CCO MD5. Here is what's on CCO: 9702b251aeaa28ed1dfe07d32186fcfc
Both times my MD5 was the same but didn't match CCO.
Thanks,
Phil

After reading the install notes, this upgrade from a 3.0.2 system looks like it should be quick and painless. Considering no AMIS or hardware is being updated/changed/modified. Does anybody who actually did the upgrade have any insights before I take the plunge.

It is pretty easy. Make sure you have SQL/MSDE SP1 and Exchange 2000 SP1. Unity will not start the upgrade if you are missing any required components. If you are missing something Unity tells you in plain English what it is that you are missing.

Here is a follow-up question...
If you are not running SQL, but instead MSDE -the install instructs you to install SQLSP1. Is this correct to do? Or can I just update MSDE/MDAC with new drivers?

You need to install SP1 for MSDE. This is the URL to the file:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/SQLSVR2000/SP/8.00.0384/W98NT42KMe/EN-US/SQL2KDeskSP1.exe

Okay, downloaded the file as you instructed and unpacked it and tried to run the update as instructed in the readme file (run setup.exe in the MSDE folder). I am getting a message saying "This installation package could not be opened....." I verified the download and tried again and received the same message. Then I pulled out my technet and used the Sql2kSp1 CD and ran it from there and again received the same message. I even tried running SQLRUN01.msp from the setup folder within the MSDE folder and this gets further but stops when it cannot find SQLRUN01.msi.
Please advise.

Excellent help Keith!
Considering I spent most of my time on Microsofts' site, it would of been nice and made sense if Microsoft would of included this type of information on their own site since this is an upgrade to one of their components.
Keith- you have been a great help!
