Unity 3.1.5 - cannot add existing exchange users

Hi all,

I know there have been several similar posts regarding the error: illegal configuration: Server list cannot be empty in Active Directory Configuration; A runtime error has occurred: Line 2030: error: 'Get.ServersBy Name(...)' is null or not an object.

I have checked all the registry settings (GC has the correct server, the account that AvDSGlobalCatalog is running under has full control to DirectoryConnections) but still get the error.

Versions:

Unity 3.1.5

Exch2000 sp2

Any ideas would much appreciated.

Thanks,

Elena

This can also be a DC server/configuration error since we're asking the OS to resolve a server by name and getting an error back - be sure you check the DC references in there as well and make sure name resolution is working form our box...

I've checked and I can ping the DC Server by name from Unity

I know there was a bug ID for this, because I hit it on ours. Try stopping and starting IIS and WWW services. Then go in. If it clears, then you hit the same bug. I'll see if I can dig up that bug ID for you.
