Unity 4.0(1): MWI light not lighting when there is a message

The TSP version is 7.0(1). Tried resynchronizing the MWI on the Call Manager. Tried resetting the ports. All ports are registered with the Call Manager. Only two of many users are having this problem. Was working for them before.

Based on the description here the problem most likely lies in the exchange connection - i.e. we're not getting notification of inbox updates any longer.

There are several documents on the Tech Tips page that discuss various ways to troubleshoot MWI problems - you'll find the tech tips page here:

Then search for "Troubleshooting Message Waiting Issues" - there are 6 or 7 articles there. I'd start with the "Troubleshooting the Cisco Unity MWI Exchange Component" tip based on your post here.
