Having an issue with Unified Messaging and Exhchange 5.5. We recently upgraded the customers Unity 2.4.6 Windows NT integration to 4.0.1 for now with Exhcange 5.5 on an NT server in a Win 2K domain. The Unity system account never gets created in exchange. The Exchange server is in a domain called Name&Name. Since the domain has been upgraded to 2K that old domain name is only used on a couple of servers (& is not valid character), namely the exchange server. On the 2K domain the name is ab.companyname.com. When we first upgraded 2.4.6 to 4.0.1 on a temporary server TAC had to dial in and manually create the system account in Exchange for the temporary Unity server in order for it to work. Now we are trying to upgrade the production server and we are having the same problem. I have checked permissions and everything seems to be fine. I can create subscribers from within Unity without a problem. Are we having domain issues, because of the different domain names? What else could be the problem?
