Unity 4.0(2) User Creation Issue

A client has encountered the following issue when

trying to create a user in Unity 4.0(2).

"an unrecognized error has occurred, 0x80043005"

However, creating the user first in Exchange and

then importing the user into Unity seemingly works

fine.

The client has verified that the account being

used to is the UnityAdmin account, and that they

have proper permissions to Exchange and Win2000.

They are running Exchange 5.5 off-box. The servers

involved are Win2000, but they are still pre-AD.

A call to TAC has resulted with a reply of "reload"

the Unity server from scratch which seems rather

drastic when you can import without issue.

Any ideas as to why this issue is occurring, or a

log to review to proof everything again?

A reload of the server is not an acceptable solution for TAC to give you. Please send the case number to kechambe@cisco.com and I will make sure you are taken care of.
