Unity 4.0(3), Exchange 2000 and Rules

I been having some users experiencing problems with the MWI lately and I noticed that they had rules running in their inbox, I disabled them and the MWI no works correctly. However for one user they had a rule but it was DISABLED and yet they still had the problem. Once I deleted the rule it worked fine.

My question is this....a lot of people in my company use rules especially on their inbox...is there any hack/workaround this. Can unity be configured to monitor other folders besides the inbox?

No, there's no hack for this. We can only monitor the inbox folder for updates - it'd be enormously expensive (and a permissions problem) to go out and monitor user folders (assuming they were on the server and not on the client box) - it just can't be done efficiently.

If there are rules present that mark voice messages read or move them to other folders then notification/MWI simply will not work properly.
