David,

I'm not sure how you want to respond to the call, but a call handler in Unity should do the job. Take a look at the following link. There is a section on call handlers and their uses.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_administration_guide_book09186a008043ea39.html

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Thanks,

Brandon

Re: Unity 4.0 auto-response to calls

In Unity SaWeb, there is an option on the left for Call Routing. If you are configuring a cti port with that specific DN to forward to Unity, then create/configure an rule.

Re: Unity 4.0 auto-response to calls

HinHo is correct. You want to setup a Call Route Rule based upon either the circuit it came on in, (PRI, analog, etc) or the Dialed Number (800 number, DID, etc). From their you can direct it to play a Call Handler with your greeting. (auto response).

1. Define your call route

2. Define a Call Handler

3. Add you Call Route (based upon schedule, Dialed number or circuit, etc)

4. test.

hope this helps.
