Unity 4.0: DUCS users and non-DUCS users on the same DUCS Server

My customer has 4 Domino 5.0.10 (NT) servers where 1100 Notes users are homed to. Those 4 Domino servers also support several "other" thousand users that would NOT require Unified Messaging services.

Question: After they upgrade these 4 Domino servers with DUCS version 1.1, can those servers differentiate or support DUCS/UM users and non-DUCS/UM users concurrently? Or, is it required for my customer to "move" DUCS users to "DUCS only" servers?
