I am installing Unity 4.0 EFT release with Exchange 2000 off box.
Have reached the Unity software install part, and get past the permissions part , however, when Unity is doing a systems check i ran into the following error:
Unable to get SQL version from registry .
Install Microsoft SQL 2000 with at least SP2.
I check and SQL is running, i had installed MSDE 2000. When I try to re-install MSDE i get the following error:
Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine-the instance name specified is invalid.
HELP!!!!!!!

NEVER MIND, however,I am at the configuring services stage of the Unity install and am receiving the following error:
CAvSvcSQL: Query Installer Acount, select s.subscriberObject_Id from dbo.vw_Subscriber where s.uid= Installer = dbo.fn_UnityParam (@ systemId) Invalid connection string attribute [ 0x80004005] error: unspecified error
Please let me know how i am able to overcome this.
