UNITY 4.0 installation error

I'm receiving the following error window while trying to run Unity 4.0 setup "setup cannot upgrade from a version older than 3.0". I'm not upgrading, this is a new installation, it seems to be that the previous steps were setup succesfully.

Can you help me????

Was there a Unity install on this box earlier? You'll see that error if you didn't properly uninstall Unity from the box - there may be residual files in a \commserver directory or the Active Voice registry branch may be around in part or in total in the HKLM\Software branch. Somehow or another the setup found some files/keys that indicated that there is already a version on the box.
