UNITY 4.0 Voice Messaging to Unified Messaging Migration

I'm currently running a UNITY 4.0(1) application for Voice Messaging only and I want to migrate it to an Unified Messaging configuration. I haven't found any documents regarding this kind of procedure. Is it possible to reconfigure the unity installation or is it necessary to reinstall again UNITY?

You can do a DiRT backup and then a restore into a new install (of the same version of Unity of course) in the UM enviorenemnt - if the mail aliases on the VM system match those on the UM system you're done. If not, you'll have to pull out the migrate subscriber data tool and push the Unity data off the newly created accounts (by the DiRT restore) onto the appropriate email accounts as necessary.
