UNITY 4 : Backup

Hi

The existing Backup of Unity 3.1(3.0) is not longer supported by Unity 4.0.

Is there any Backup Tool available as it was for older Versions, or could i

use my own Backup System which is Commvault.

PLEASE IT IS URGENT WE ARE IN PRODUKTION WITHOUT BACKUP

Not sure what you mean by "the existing backup of Unity 3.1(3) is no longer supported in 4.0"...

DiRT ships with Unity 4.0... you can always get the latest version off of www.CiscoUnityTools.com - it is supported on 4.0(1) as well.

Re: UNITY 4 : Backup

It's not necessary, it's just a real good idea. You want to make sure your database is nice and clean before you back it up. DiRT is typically used to migrate Unity installations between servers/domains/back ends so I put up a warning before running it that you should check your database health with dbWalker before proceeding. You don't need to, though.
