Unity and Cisco Call Manager

We have Unity connecting to Call Manager the integration is working but if we lose network connectivity when that connectivity is restored the only way to get unity to see the call manager ports is to reboot the unity server. Is there any fix for this? The solution we are using now is to have redundent NICs however it seems that this is ethernet and the application should be able to recover from a loss of network. <br><br><br>Anthony Duval<br>Systems Engineer <br>Special Order Systems<br><br>

Unity should reconnect to the CallManager server. We have tested it on numerous occasions and I have never seen the reconnection fail... Is there a failover CallManager server? Is this server clustered with the primary? What version of the AvCiscoTsp are you using? What version of the CallManager are you using? How long is the network connection being dropped?

The AvCiscoTsp version and later will put a warning in the application event log when the connection is disconnected. It will also put an informational event in the log when the connection is reconnected. Are these showing up?
