During a unistallation routine of Cisco Unity 3.1.5 the connection with Exchage 5.5 server was lost. For this reason in the Exchange server there is again the Unity Folder. I need to know if I loggin in the Exchange server with "admin /r " option and delete the folder is all OK , or are there other link or object present that I need to delete ?
Removing the Unity folder in 5.5 will get rid of the location objects, however there are still some things you'll need to worry about in the directory.
First and foremost is that each user that was a subscriber will be "stamped" as a Unity subscriber and you'll need to "clean" them if you want to import them into another Unity server later. To clean these in Exchange 5.5 you need to go into raw mode and remove the "voice mail user ID" and custom attributes 12 and 14.
You also need to be sure to remove these objects:
UAMIS (if the AMIS feature is installed)
All Subscribers distribution list
System Event Messages distribution list
Unaddressed Messages distribution list
Then the directory should be clean of Unity stuff...
