Could you give reasons for a customer site running a very old Unity (18.104.22.168) to have 77 instances of Event ID 1020 in their Application log? (It happened for all of their 16 ports.)<br><br>Example Error message: "Port 5 Failed routing a continued call to application [PHTransfer] with data object type (0), Using Failsafe instead"<br><br>This sounds like an illegal links issue. If that's what it is, does this old build give any warning of an illegal link (like the newer builds do) in the "Caller Input" section part of either CH or Subscriber?<br><br>Could this just be an obnoxious / erroneous error message?<br><br>
If it's routing callers to fail safe, it's not a bogus message. No, the 2.2.x SA doesn't flag bad links in red... that didn't get in until 2.3.6. And unfortunately all the tools (SysCheck, dbWalker, unresolved references reports) aren't available on such an old version. You can try running dbWalker and it might work but I've only tested it against 2.3.4 and later... It's a read only operation if you don't check the two options at the top so it shouldn't hurt anything regardless.
our minimum version for support has been 2.3.4 for almost a year now. That's a pretty crusty version hanging out there!
