Unity: DNS server unable to interpret format

Unity build 2.4.6.135

I am being inundated with Netlogon error messages saying:

"Registration of the DNS record ..... failed with the following error. DNS server unable to interpret format."

Using an external DNS server.

What could be set up wrong?

Are you using Windows 2000 Server on the Unity box? If so, go to:

Start -> Settings -> Network and Dial-up Connections

Go to Properties for your LAN Connection

Go to Properties for TCP/IP

Click Advanced

Click DNS tab

There is a box there called "Register this connection's address in DNS"

If it's checked, uncheck it, and click OK all the way out.

I'm not sure if you need to reboot for that to take effect or not, but I think no.
